Mesh Adhesives

Murakami's mesh adhesives have been used for decades. Use MS-Bond series for fast adhesion using activator. Two part polyurethane glue for easy re-meshing. Surface preparation is key for either. Use grinders like MBX by Montipower to prepare a surface that the adhesive can "bite" onto. Undercoating is recommended for most applications. Both emit odors and good ventilation or masks are recommended.
MS-BOND (005, 100, 300): Cyanoacrylate glues provides one of the toughest bonds to screen printing frames. High chemical resistance and sheer strength. See chart below for product selection per mesh. MS-Bond 100 works across all mesh counts, but the amount applied may need to be adjusted (use more for lower and less for higher mesh counts).

MS-Bond Activator: Apply to surface of MS-Bond for near instantaneous bond or drying. Thich layers of glue or too much application of activator may cause white residues to form.

Murakami 2 Part Polyurethane Adhesive (MS-Bond 2P): A fast-drying, high-performance adhesive with excellent chemical resistance and very high sheer strength. It is formulated to bond fabric to aluminum, wood, plastic, and other metals. Removing mesh and adhesive residue is easier with this adhesive compared to cyanoacrylate.
