Dualcure Emulsions

By Application

By Type

Dual Cure Emulsions are formulated with two types of sensitizers, SBQ and diazo or diazo and acrylates (acrylate monomers).  Murakami dual cure emulsions are known for their wide latitude of exposure to image details easily.  They also can be used with difficult ink systems that may be hot solvent inks, or co solvent inks where both solvent and water resistance are needed.

Photocure WSR

Murakami WSR is a water and solvent resistant dual cure emulsion for textile printing. It can print all textile inks without hardening the stencil. This emulsion coats and exposes easily, with excellent resolution and easy reclaiming to preserve fine mesh counts. Avoid making back up screens to raise efficiency due to it's break down free nature : )

Photocure PRO

Photocure PRO is a dual cure emulsion with exceptional resolution qualities. Photocure PRO images hafltones and fine details with ease in an easy to use wide latitude emulsion. Designed for high end graphics and electronics it also excels at simulated process apparel printing. Used by Andy Macdougall <- Let us know when to take this down! : )

SP-7500

Murakami SP-7500 provides excellent halftone control in a wide latitude, easy to use dual cure emulsion. It coats, exposes and reclaims with ease.  Primarily designed for the textile industry it is capable of printing water base and discharge when hardened with MS-Hardener or A&B Hardener.

SP-9500

Murakami SP-9500 is one of our first dual cure graphic emulsion.  It can withstand the most agressive solvent ink systems while providing outstanding resolution of fine details.  SP-9500’s wide latitude offers an easy to use emulsion with exceptional durability. Originally formulated for water-based UV inks. Can be used as adhering emulsion for dualcure films.

Advance Z

Advance Z is an economical version of Advance 20 with comparable qualities. Designed for graphics and electronics with needs to print halftones and fine trace patterns with ease.  This emulsion can print both UV and solvent based ink systems.

Advance 20

One of Murakami group's top selling high performance dual cure emulsion. Excellent resolution and edge quality. Exhibits low surface tack, excels at simulated process printing of fine halftones and fine trace circuitry printing.

SP-9701

Murakami SP-9701 is the emulsion recommended for the most demanding applications that require extreme solvent resistance and mechanical abrasion resistance. Used for inks that contain NMP and other aggressive solvents.

Photocure PRO Heavy

Photocure PRO HVY is a higher viscosity version of Photocure PRO for textile printers who need to coat mesh counts below 135 threads per inch.  Resolution, definition and ease of use are all similar to Photocure PRO.
