Diazo Mixing Instructions:

Mixing in a separate container (Recommended)
1. Pour half of required water volume into a container (plastic pails, cups, etc. / confirm volumes below)
2. Place bag in vertical position and tap or shake lightly to gather the diazo at the bottom of the bag.
3. Tear or cut the top of the bag (easier to cut).
4. Open pack gently to prevent diazo from escaping.
5. Gently empty the diazo out of the pack into the container.
6. Mix / Stir until diazo is fully dissolved.
7. Pour diazo into emulsion.
8. Pour remaining half of water into the container to rinse out any residual diazo left in container and pour into emulsion.
9. Mix / Stir the emulsion until the diazo is fully dispersed (color should be even / uniform)
10. Let emulsion degas or filter with mesh (300 or higher) to use immediately.
• Limitation of the container size may require user to repeat steps.
If container is cleaned out, any additional water required can go directly into emulsion.
Mixing In Aluminum Foil Packaging
1. Place bag in vertical position and tap or shake lightly to gather the diazo at the bottom of the bag.
2. Tear or cut the top of the bag (easier to cut).
3. Open pack gently to prevent diazo from escaping.
4. Pour half of required water volume into pack. (confirm volumes below)
5. Fold top edge of the bag over twice to seal.
6. Hold the bag closed tightly and gently agitate solution using a side to side motion to dissolve completely.
7. Pour the mixed solution / diazo into the emulsion.
8. Pour remaining half of water into the bag to rinse out any residual diazo left in bag. Repeat steps 5-7.
9. Mix / Stir the emulsion until the mixed solution / diazo is fully dispersed (color should be even / uniform)
10. Let emulsion degas or filter with mesh (300 or higher) to use immediately.
• Size of the aluminum pack may require user to repeat steps. If pack is cleaned out, any additional water required can go directly into emulsion.
