Murakami makes specific emulsions designed for UV, Solvent, and hot solvent inks. Outstanding resolution and durability is built into each emulsion.
Screen Printed posters can range from economical POP production to highly illustrated pieces of art. From Large Format UV to hand pulled posters, Murakami has an emulsion that will print sharp detailed images with outstanding durability for any ink system. Murakami also has MS-Capillary Film that can speed up the screen making process while providing high resolution and sharp print shoulders to execute your design flawlessly.
Glass Decoration: Murakami Smartmesh holds precise registration for difficult graphics where substrate costs demand low reject rates. Precise dot on dot registration combined with durable stencils allows you to tackle the most demanding print applications.
Fine Art Serigraphy: Art reproduction is only as good as the stencil printing it. Artists chose fine red sable brushes for water color, boar bristle brushes for oils since the image quality is improved with better tools. Murakami emulsions and mesh form a perfect screen to impart the detail, color, and impeccable finish quality necessary in fine art printing.
Decals/Stickers: From solvent to UV ink systems Murakami emulsions and mesh provide an excellent production platform to improve print quality and production yields. Smartmesh from Murakami holds precise registration with a property called ‘mesh memory’. This refers to accumulated elongation percentage or the loss of tension or registration due to the pulling forces of the squeegee. For ganged up art consistency is crucial. Registration and ink laydown of transparent like inks requires an emulsion and mesh that work in tandem to solve difficult print registration issues, not create them.
Photocure GT Blue
Photocure GT Blue is our newest premium emulsion that can be used for all types of applications. Excellent properties overall and with water and solvent resistant properties, it can be the one emulsion that can be used for all your needs. Can be used for CTS / laser systems that are said to require or work better with high sensitivity emulsions.
One Pot Sol C
One Pot Sol C is one of Murakami’s original premier emulsion capable of the finest resolution and details. It is designed for critical high tolerance printing found in electronics and graphics. One Pot Sol C can also be used in textile 4/Color Process or simulated process printing to obtain optimum tonal ranges. Used for adhering Murakami Thick Film.
One Pot DLE-GS
One Pot DLE-GS is a solvent resistant direct light exposure emulsion used on laser exposure systems. This emulsion works well with large format CTS exposure units that require fast exposures and excellent sensitivity. Can attain additional water resistance by adding small amounts of diazo.
MSP-2
MSP-2 Excels at electronic circuitry printing. It adheres well to both stainless steel and polyester mesh. It is capable of multiple build up emulsion coats and can achieve 1000 micron thickness. Excellent definition, great mesh adhesion, and it is capable of withstanding abrasive ink systems. Also excellent for industrial applications like ceramics printing and adhesives printing.
Photocure WSR
Murakami WSR is a water and solvent resistant dual cure emulsion for textile printing. It can print all textile inks without hardening the stencil. This emulsion coats and exposes easily, with excellent resolution and easy reclaiming to preserve fine mesh counts. Avoid making back up screens to raise efficiency due to it's break down free nature : )
Photocure PRO
Photocure PRO is a dual cure emulsion with exceptional resolution qualities. Photocure PRO images hafltones and fine details with ease in an easy to use wide latitude emulsion. SP-9500
Murakami SP-9500 is one of our first dual cure graphic emulsion. It can withstand the most agressive solvent ink systems while providing outstanding resolution of fine details. SP-9500’s wide latitude offers an easy to use emulsion with exceptional durability. Originally formulated for water-based UV inks. Can be used as adhering emulsion for dualcure films.
