Screen Printing Applications
Textile (Apparel) Applications
Why are Murakami emulsions ideal for textile printing applications?
Murakami emulsions and capillary films are designed for long-run, high-speed garment printing. We make specific emulsions designed for different types of inks like plastisol, water based, and discharge inks. Modern exposure equipment require emulsions with high sensitivity. Being the inventors of PVA-SBQ emulsion, we are well equipped to rapidly provide formulations that suit every needs.
-
Excellent compatibility with water-based, plastisol, and discharge inks
-
High durability on automatic presses
-
Sharp edge definition for detailed prints
-
Stable performance under repeated use
Why is Smartmesh ideal for textile printing?
Smartmesh excels in textile printing with long-run registration and high tension stability. Smartmesh provides incredible long run registration on automatic presses. Our very popular S mesh with greater open area and our high tension T and HD meshes all provide the best registration available to produce stunning textile prints like the shirt to the left.
-
Consistent Japanese quality for stable performance under repeatable prints
-
Balanced warp and weft threads to maintain square openings for better control over half tones
-
Decreased mesh and spot moire
-
Excellent quality control - batch to batch, lot to lot consistency

Graphics Applications
Why are Murakami emulsions ideal for graphics printing applications?
Murakami emulsions and capillary films are designed for long-run, UV, Solvent, and hot solvent inks printing. We make specific emulsions designed for controlling dot gain (tone jump) and our finely dispersed particles help to maintain copy of original image by forming smooth surface and opening shoulders for accurate paste deposits. We have access to a variety of acrylate monomers to formulate according to your needs.
-
Outstanding detail for halftones and fine lines
-
Durable for long production runs
-
Compatible with a wide range of graphic substrates
-
Excellent edge definition and ink control
Why is Smartmesh ideal for graphics printing?
Smartmesh ensures precise registration and consistent ink flow for high-quality graphic printing. Dependable print results with consistent mesh openings, fabric thickness, and thread diameter assure print quality from the first print to the last.
-
Uniform mesh openings and fabric thickness
-
Stable tension for repeatable quality
-
Excellent for multi-color and high-resolution prints

Why is Smartmesh ideal for electronics printing applications
Smartmesh (also Micromesh - stainless steel mesh) provide precision and consistency for high-tolerance printing. Smartmesh for this application is often used as the carrier for the stainless wire sheet used in combination or trampoline screens (normally 200 or 225 mesh). Maintains tension on the wire sheet evenly critical to dimensional stability of screen and printed results.
