Measures tension within
the screen mesh as it is being stretched.
Accurately
balance tension levels in mesh library.
Achieving
manufacturer’s
recommended tension levels across entire
set improves registration, allows lower
off contact, less wear on emulsion and mesh, and
better print results.
Checking
Tension
Tension meters should be calibrated
prior to measuring tension.
Place tension meter on calibrating
glass and adjust dial so the needle points to zero.
The red dots on the screen represent
the measuring points.
The meter is directional and reads
the tension in the direction of the longest part
of the base.
Turn 90 degrees
at each dot to read both warp and weft tension levels.
