Checking Tension

• Tension meters should be calibrated prior to measuring tension.
• Place tension meter on calibrating glass and adjust dial so the needle points to zero.
• The red dots on the screen represent the measuring points.
• The meter is directional and reads the tension in the direction of the longest part of the base.
• Turn 90 degrees at each dot to read both warp and weft tension levels.
